Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Minsk which is the capital city of Belarus. The father of her Sergey (d. 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk Belarus in May 1998. Aryna Sabalenka holds twelve WTA Singles titles. One of which was crowned Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2023. Also, she is a great doubles player. She has won two Majors to her name in this area, the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both alongside Elisemertens. In 2019, she took home each of in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed what is known as the Sunshine Double. Only four couples were able to achieve this feat in women's doubles. In the month of January, 2023, she was ranked the highest in singles. On the 23rd of August, 2021 she moved up to number two in the ranks. Following her victory at the Melbourne doubles competition in February of 2021, she was able rise up the rankings to take the first spot on the list of that particular specialty. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until the season was over in the year 2019, and also for a short period at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach she worked with from the month of August to September of 2020. Her training has been provided by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams is her role as a model, and she is being followed by Maria Sharapova.
